The Baguio Country Club takes its name from the city where it is located. Baguio city is the "summer capital" of the Philippines. It
is a "mountain city" and people go to Baguio to escape the intense heat of summer (April-May). The city is found in the northern
part of Luzon, which is the largest island of the Philippines.
